At Lehigh
Surfaces, we manufacture four types of cast polymer products.
Cast Polymer is an umbrella term used to describe cultured marble,
cultured granite, cultured onyx and solid surface products that are
used in a wide array of household and commercial applications. Some
of these applications are kitchen counter tops, lavatories, vanity
tops, shower receptors, wall panels, bathtubs, whirlpools, wall caps,
window sills, fire place surrounds and a variety of decorative moldings
to accentuate homeowners’ tastes.
Cast polymer products are man-made, chemically-bonded, mineral-filled
polymeric materials which are molded and hardened to a solid material
in variety of shapes that meet diverse design needs. The manufacturing
process permits a range of uses almost impossible to achieve with
quarried stone. Cast polymer is stronger and less brittle than quarried
marble or granite, and it is more durable than porcelain.
